The MOCA Scholarship recipient was Steven A. Johnson Jr. He is currently dual-enrolled at Dunnellon High School and the College of Central Florida. He is very active in his church and chemistry is one of his favorite classes. He plans on becoming a pharmacist. We are proud to award him this $1,000 scholarship to be used toward his educational costs in pursuit of becoming a pharmacist.
This year, we started a new scholarship that is for an adult attending school to further their education. The Rick Dennison Scholarship was awarded to Jennifer Tidwell. She is a mother and works at Liberty Middle School as an ESE parapsychologist in classes with students that are on the spectrum and have behavioral problems. She has received an Associate's degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She is currently working on her Master's degree in Forensic Psychology. We are excited to help with her continued education by providing this scholarship.
