The Marion Oaks Civic Association Inc.
SIGNAL LIGHT FOR FOUR WAY INTERSECTION.
The residents of Marion Oaks Community request that a signal light be placed at the four-way intersection of Marion Oaks Lane and Marion Oaks Blvd. The signal light need is due to the increase in traffic on a daily basis. As residents, we are experiencing speeding, lack of knowledge on how to handle four way intersection traffic, multiple accidents or near misses, and general disregard for safety. As well as construction vehicles who feel they have the right of way. There is also a lack of sidewalk markings in that area, as many residents are out walking in the community and they are taking a terrible chance in that intersection. In the past we have requested traffic studies and have been told that the need was not necessary. As residents, we beg to differ. Our community is growing quickly as more homes and businesses are built. Please listen to the community and do what is right for all of us.
